About Lampwise
In 1999 we recognised that the local and surrounding areas of Milton Keynes required a decorative lighting specialist outlet so we established Lampwise.
Lampwise 1 was located at 75 High Street Stony Stratford Milton Keynes. It was packed from floor to ceiling with lights, bulbs and accessories of every description.
As the store’s popularity increased, more space was needed so eventually Lampwise 2 was created which is located at 63 High Street Stony Stratford Milton Keynes. This enabled them to special in different areas. Lampwise 2 then became the main store as it was a larger premise. Hence Lampwise 1 then specialized in Tiffany.
In 2003 our decorative lighting sales grew at a steady pace and we took on more manufactures worldwide more space was needed. So we then opened another Lampwise store at the top of Stony Stratford in Swinfens Arcade. This store then specialised in bathroom, outdoor and ceiling fans.
Also just a couple of doors away was Lampwise 4. This then specialised in children’s lamps and Novelty Lighting
Lampwise then decided to go further a field and opened a small showroom within Wakefield lodge near Potterspury.
In 2006 we opened another Lampwise showroom in Tickford Arcade Newport Pagnell which was a smaller version of Lampwise 2. There were indoor outdoor Tiffany and much more included bulbs
There were then five different premises in the area, each Specialising in different lighting.
Lampwise then decided to do an extension of the main store 63 High Street Stony Stratford. In December 2006 all the shops were consolidated into one Premises on the High Street. The shop then expanded backwards, upwards and outwards. It is now commented by visitors local and afar it is an Aladdin’s cave of modern - contemporary and traditional style crystal chandeliers, Tiffany lamps, spot lights, up lighters, downlighters, night, standard, wall, and ceiling - you think of it- they have it - and more.
In fact, Lampwise has even more stock at a huge storage unit at Kiln Farm!
Four members of the family now work in the business along with several other members of staff. Lampwise pride themselves on customer satisfaction and still offer

So in 2007 we combined all our showrooms and now have a two storey fully loaded showroom with extended out and upwards. See our visit us page for a sneak preview
Now finally 2008 we have launched our new online shop. The increase in sales through our showroom is enabling us re-invest in our business and promotional activities to further enhance our reputation, lighting showroom and web site locally, nationally and internationally.
