Lampwise - About us - How Lampwise became

In 1999 Lampwise was born, the owner started Lampwise for the simple reason, no quality lighting was available in the area, so Lampwise was created, it was then packed from floor to ceiling with lighting, light bulbs & lighting accessories of every description.

Lampwise at one point had 5 showrooms on Stony Stratford High Street in Milton Keynes each Specialising in different areas of lighting, the stores we had in Stony Stratford were simply just was not a big enough. We then came across a store in the centre of the high street that suited our needs, Lampwise was then consolidated into one light shop in 2006, & we expanded upward, backwards, outwards & upstairs packed with designer lighting, It is now known far and wide as an Aladdin’s Cave of lighting, also regarded one of the gems of Stony Stratford.

Lampwise has a huge storage facility that is packed 16ft high, even though we stock a lot, orders are always coming in everyday from around the world , if an item is not in stock it will be sourced for you even if it’s a nut & bolt, & if preferred delivered to your door.

Lampwise is now well established, the owners have worked very hard to get the business to where it is today since the late 90’s and it’s still expanding
